MINDFULNESS MONDAY:


As we begin the new year, I have an affirmation for infinite possibilities.


A suggestion for the week:

• Come to a comfortable seat and set a timer for at least 5 minutes.

• Close your eyes and repeat the following affirmation quietly to yourself:

“I am in an infinite world


MINDFULNESS MONDAY:


During this last Monday of the year, we are looking at ‘Ikigai’, a Japanese concept that means life purpose. Ikigai consists of 4 components:

1 That which you can be paid for.

2 That which you are skilled in.

3 That which you are passionate about.

4 That which the world needs.


MINDFULNESS MONDAY:


This week we have a meditation starring…. You!

You are the star of your own movie. Meditate to become more conscious of the character you live when nobody is watching.


A suggestion for the week:

• Set a timer for at least 5 minutes and come to a comfortable position.

• Take a few deep breaths and allow your body to relax.


MINDFULNESS MONDAY:


This week we are practicing conscious breathwork. Through breathwork we are able to clear away old energy and old ways of doing things.


A suggestion for the week:

• Breathe consciously: one inhale into the belly, a second inhale into the chest, and then one full exhale.

• Let the body become completely relaxed, signaling to the nervous system that old patterns can be cleared.

• Silently repeat the phrase “Now is new” with every component of the breath. “Now” on the belly inhale, “is” on the chest inhale and “new” on the exhale.
