MINDFULNESS MONDAY:


Today we have a fun way to look at meditating.


A suggestion for the week:

• Come to a comfortable sitting position, set a timer for 5 minutes and close your eyes of you feel comfortable.

• Here is an interesting quote to consider about meditation as you meditate:

“In zazen, leave your front door and your back door open. Let thoughts come and go. Just don’t serve them tea.”


MINDFULNESS MONDAY:


In the modern world we are inundates with distractions. Whether those distractions are advertisements, apps or our own ambitions, we have to break the mesmerism and see things for what they really are.


A suggestion for the week:

• Come to a seat in a quiet place.

• Observe the nature of the way your mind and feelings respond today.

• Journal about what you saw, how it made you feel and if it caused you to think or believe something new, even in subtle ways.


MINDFULNESS MONDAY:


Today we have an affirmation for positivity.


A suggestion for the week:

• Find a quiet place and repeat the following:


“Every cause has its effect, and every effect has its cause. Today I will move through life planting seeds of positivity and healing.”

Today we have a meditation of with a glass of water.

Throughout the ages, world traditions have had a practice of blessing water before drinking or using it. It is said to sanctify the water and even change its molecular structure, enhancing its capacity for hydration and activating spiritual benefits.


A suggestion for the week:

• Pour yourself a glass of water and take a seat.

• Hold the glass in both hands and close your eyes for a moment.
