MINDFULNESS MONDAY:
This week we are looking at bringing our body into balance.
A suggestion for the week:
• Standing comfortably, we are going to practice this variation of a mindful body scan.
• Allow your arms to rest comfortably at your side and close your eyes.
• Bring your awareness throughout the right side of your body. Softly tighten all of the muscles on your right side; your calf, thigh, chest, arm, etcetera.
• Release the muscles on your right side, and then softly tighten all of the muscles on your left side.
• Make sure to take a few comfortable deep breaths as you do this.
• Alternate between the right side and the left side three times.
• Take three deep breaths, relaxing every part of the body.
