MINDFULNESS MONDAY:

Today we are looking at a sunshine meditation.

Just as plants feed on the energy of sunlight, we absorb benefits from sunlight.

A suggestion for the week:

Weather permitting, for today’s meditation, try to practice outdoors or near a window in the sunlight.

• Come to a comfortable seat in the sunlight and set a timer for at least 5 minutes.

MINDFULNESS MONDAY:

This week we are looking at forgiveness.

A suggestion for the week:

• Take a few minutes this week to contemplate that for one to forgive, they are accepting things as they are and to not judge or condemn the soul of the one you forgive. It is not necessary to reestablish a relationship with those you have forgiven, only that the release happens within your own heart.

Have a kindness filled week!

This week we are focusing on present moment awareness.

• Throughout your day, take an inventory of the thoughts occupying your mind. Are they focused on the past, present or future?

MINDFULNESS MONDAY:

Today we are going to reflect on your greatest personal challenges and the most significant problems humanity faces. Have a journal or a clean sheet of paper ready for today’s mindfulness moment.

A suggestion for the week:

• Come to a comfortable seated position at a writing surface with few distractions.

• Write a letter to the universe about your reflections including the following components:

1. Begin by addressing the letter “Dear Universe….”
